    A)Answer the following questions:
    1 - Where was Gulliver born?
    He was born on a large farm in the Middle of England.
    2 - Who called him " Lemuel Gulliver" ?
    His father.
    3 - For whom did he work as a prentice?
    For the surgeon Mr. Bates.
    4 - What did Gulliver do in his free time?
    He learned how to sail.
    5 - How long did he work on the ship " The Swallow" ?
    For three and a half years.
    6 - Who was Mary Burton? And where did they stay?
    She was Gulliver's wife. (in London)
    7 - Why did he have to take another job?
    Because there was no work in London.

    Gulliver and the sailors were thrown into the sea.

    They were all dead.

    He was cold, wet and exhausted.

    Because his arms, legs and hair were fastened to the ground.

    Because they decided to shoot arrows at him, and one arrow nearly hit his eye. Perhaps
    thinking that he could punish them.

    The little man looked horrified. He thought Gulliver was going to eat him.
